Detailed Itinerary of the 8 Days Rwanda Gorillas & Tanzania Wildlife Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you are picked up by a driver guide who transfers you via the Genocide Memorials and National Museums to Volcanoes National Park. On reaching here, check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mountain Gorilla View lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Wake up very early in the morning have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Mountain Gorillas then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger guide, enter the forest to track the Gorillas for 3-5 hours in their natural forest habitat and when you meet them, stay in their presence taking photos to keep for memories.
After Gorilla trekking, return to the park headquarters to pick your Gorilla trekking Certificate. Later proceed to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.
Day 3: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to traverse the Rwanda Tanzania border to Arusha. On arrival here, proceed to Ngorongoro Crater then check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.
Day 4: Full Day in Ngorongoro Crater
Wake up early have breakfast then with your packed lunch, proceed to the Park in a 4×4 jeep/ car to the Park to watch various wildlife like wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, and giant African elephants. After the Game Drive, proceed to have Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.
Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
Wake up early today have breakfast then embark on a transfer to the stunning Serengeti National Park. En-route, visit the Olduvai Gorge then proceed to the Serengeti National Park for a Game Drive. On arrival here, check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day 6: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Wake up early in the morning have breakfast then with packed lunch transfer to the park to enjoy a Full Day Game Drive along the various tracks in the park watching wildlife animals wander around their natural vegetation habitat. After the Game Drive, return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day 7: Transfer to Lake Natron
Wake up have breakfast then transfer Lake Natron with en-route lunch. On arrival here, check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Optionally, you can proceed on an evening Guided Nature Walk then later proceed to your lodge. Lake Natron tented camp.
Day 8: Departure to Arusha
Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage, embark on a departure to Arusha International Airport to board your flight back home.
